Welcome to Phnom Penh Players
We are an informal group of people who enjoy getting together and seeing what kind of theatre we can produce. It’s great fun and allows us an opportunity to raise money for causes within Cambodia. We put on several performances each year, including our annual Christmas Panto each December.

Prepare For The Next Show
Does the board look empty?
We might be in between seasons or simply didn’t have as many productions for this season.
PPP follows an annual cycle divided into halves (Jan-Jun, Jul-Dec). First half starts in January with voting of a fresh committee and closing past year with a bang aka Plazzies! Our very own glitzy and glamorous award show to celebrate all productions and charities of the previous year. Plazzies are usually followed by Pitch Party.
Pitch Party for both halfs
Pitch Partries and general meetings open to old and new players are held at the start of or before a new season. These meetings decide the productions of the next 6ish months. This is something to look for if you have a production to pitch and direct!
Where else can I find you?
Facebook! We are in SE Asia where that thing is still hip! Great idea to check anyway, since we are run by volunteers. You might have stumbled on this site on a year when the marketing person isn’t very proficient with websites*, but might be extremely active in Meta / Insta.

*If the latest updates in here and in social media are from years ago, you are most likely from a dystopian future that might have outlived Players. So very sad 😔
